I am a data scientist with an academic background. I hold a degree in Physics, an MSc, and a PhD in Astronomy, and I am a self-taught software developer. I love coding! Currently, I lead a small team of data scientists and developers who are experts in software to support e-science. We build online platforms to help astronomers do big data analysis. I am also the program manager of BRA-LIN, the Brazilian in-kind contribution program for LSST responsible for the deployment and operations of the Brazilian Independent Data Access Center of the Rubin Observatory. Fun fact: In my free time I study music. I play the bass guitar in family rock band and I started learning piano during the pandemic.
